Ellen Bock

Ellen Bock is currently a Business Development Manager for Human Exploration & Operations, with her primary focus on Northrop Grumman’s concept for a Commercial Destination Free Flyer (CDFF) in low-Earth orbit.  Previously, she was working in Public Relations and Customer Engagement roles with the Strike Program in Palmdale, Calif. since May, 2021.

Prior to joining Northrop Grumman, Bock was a Public Affairs Officer for the U.S. Navy for more than 15 years.  Her latest role was as the lead communication officer for the Navy’s F-35C program.  In this position, she was responsible for communicating the program mission, vision and critical milestones, as well as authoring and executing F-35 program-wide strategic communication plans.

Bock is a 2005 graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis, Md.  After graduation, she went through Naval flight school for fixed-wing and advanced rotary wing aircraft before redesignating as a Public Affairs Officer in 2008.  She recently received her Masters of Science in Strategic Communication from Syracuse University in December 2021 after obtaining her Masters of Art in Strategic Communication from American University in Washington D.C., May 2016. She and her family reside in Hanford, Calif.
